Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship

As a Team Leader your responsibilities may vary from supporting, managing and developing your team members, to managing projects or planning and monitoring workloads and resources.

Delivering operational plans, resolving problems, or building work relationships are also key factors in becoming a successful Team Leader. You can also fit a variety of roles as Team Leader, from Supervisors and Project Officers to Shift Supervisors, Forepersons, or Shift Managers.

Delivery Mode:

Day release underpinning knowledge delivery along with ongoing work-based assessment.

Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship

Level 5 Managers are responsible for everything from creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, and leading and managing teams, to managing change, financial and resource management.

Responsibilities also include talent management, coaching and mentoring. Roles may include those of Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Manager, Department Manager as well as other specialist managers.

Institute Of Leadership and Management – Modern Apprenticeships (Scotland)

Management Level 4 (SCQF Level 9) 

This is for practising middle managers who have responsibility for allocating work, achieving specific results, carrying out policy, controlling limited financial budgets and contributing to organisational change and recruitment.

Units include developing and implementing operational plans for your area of responsibility, providing leadership in your area of responsibility, developing productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and managing business processes.

Delivery Mode:

Work-based assessed.

Management Level 5 (SCQF Level 11) 

This is aimed at senior managers who have strategic responsibility for substantial programmes and resources.

Learners should also have a broad span of control, pro-actively identifying and implementing change, negotiating budgets, contracts and leads through high level meetings. Units include providing leadership for your organisation, encouraging innovation in your organisation and improving organisational performance.

Delivery Mode:

Work-based assessed.
