Aim:
The objectives of the course are to enable delegates to:
- Be able to operate machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice.
- Use ancillary attachments.
- Carry out a pre-shift inspection.
- Be able to operate safely under varying site conditions.
- Be able to load and unload machine off a road transporter.
- Be able to carry out minor adjustments and routine service.
- Have an understanding of responsibilities under current relevant legislation.

Method of Training
Highly participative, with demonstrations highlighted by use of Powerpoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

| Certification: | Intermediate Certificate, Scottish Progression Award, CPCS Trained Operator Card, RTITB or Theory & Practical. |
