Aim:
The objectives of the course are to enable delegates to:

• Safely operate an overhead crane.
• Carry out daily maintenance.
• Understand machine terminology.
• Understand signs given by signaller (if cab operated).
• Have an understanding of responsibilities under H.S.W.A. & other current relevant legislation.

Trainee Specification:

Method of Training
Highly participative, with demonstrations highlighted by use of OHP and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

Duration: 1 to 5 days depending upon control and experience. Funding: Eligible companies may be able to claim grants toward their Training as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.
